On behalf of the UTHSC College of Dentistry Alumni Association, I would like to invite you to join us for the 2023 William F. Slagle Dental Meeting on March 3-5, in Memphis, Tennessee. This year our theme is Remembering the Past, Embracing the Present and Shaping the Future of Dentistry. We are excited about the events taking place over the weekend and returning to Hilton Hotel where it all began over 20 years ago. The Alumni Association’s Slagle Committee and the College of Dentistry staff have planned an outstanding meeting. We encourage you and your dental colleagues to attend and hear from nationally recognized speakers in the dental profession, our accomplished alumni, and the amazing faculty from the college.

Over the weekend, the entire dental team --- dentists, hygienists, and assistants --- will have the opportunity to participate in courses designed specifically for them to enhance and sharpen their skills within the dental field! In addition, to the opportunity to re-certify in all the required annual and bi-annual courses needed for licensure. You don’t want to miss this amazing opportunity to receive at least 15 hours of CE credit!

If this is your reunion year, please contact your classmates and encourage them to join you at the meeting and for a reunion dinner. The Office of Alumni Affairs is available to help plan your reunion dinners with your classmates at a preferred location in Memphis.

We encourage all Slagle meeting attendees to attend the “western” themed Welcome Party on Friday night to network with fellow dental professionals. We are looking forward to seeing you “Dress Your Best at the Wild-Wild West”, in cowboy boots, and jeans while you enjoy music from our featured band The Dentones and southern inspired hors d'oeuvres.

I look forward to seeing you in Memphis and encourage all College of Dentistry Alumni to attend!
